    For the Apple Watch and most current smartwatches, the glass and screen are firmly bonded together—a glass replacement alone is not possible, so we replace the entire display unit. Bring your watch to Blondelstraße 10 without an appointment, and we will take a look at it right away.

  • Display black or non-functional

    The watch still vibrates but displays nothing, or the touch screen only responds in one area. This is usually due to the display unit or the connector to the circuit board.

  • Battery no longer holds a charge

    After a few years the cell no longer lasts a full day, the watch shuts down in the cold, or the back starts to bulge. We then fit a new cell.

    Smartwatches charge inductively — there is no port that can be easily replaced. The cause is sometimes the charging cradle, sometimes the charging coil or the charging electronics in the watch, and sometimes a deeply discharged battery.

  1. Drop off or send in

    Come to Blondelstraße 10 during our opening hours, no appointment needed — or send your watch in if you're not in Aachen. You can leave the strap at home.

  2. Diagnosis and cost overview

    We examine the watch and tell you what needs doing and what it costs. This includes whether damage to the housing affects the seal. We only start work once you've given your approval.

  3. Repair

    We repair in our own workshop with tested spare part quality. Often ready the same day – depending on the model and parts availability.

  4. Collection with warranty

    You collect your watch or get it back by insured shipping. We give a 12-month warranty on every repair.

Frequently asked questions about smartwatch repair in Aachen

How long does a smartwatch repair take?

Often ready the same day – depending on the model and parts availability. After a display replacement, however, the adhesive has to cure so that the watch is sealed again; that's why it usually stays with us a little longer. We'll tell you what to expect when you drop it off.

How much does an Apple Watch display cost?

From 69 € including VAT. The exact price depends heavily on the model and case size — there are clear differences between an older Series 3 and a current Ultra. In the configurator you'll see the price for your watch straight away.

Is a repair worthwhile for an older watch?

That depends on the damage and the residual value. A battery replacement is almost always worthwhile and brings a well-kept watch back into everyday use. With display damage on a very old model, however, the price can be close to the replacement value. We'll tell you honestly if we think a repair isn't economical.

Will my data and pairings be kept?

Usually, yes. A display or battery replacement leaves the data on the watch and the pairing with your phone untouched — you won't have to set it up again afterwards. Making a backup beforehand is still a good idea, especially with water damage and watches that no longer start. We don't need your passcodes.

Is there a warranty on smartwatch repairs?

We give a 12-month warranty on every repair, covering the fitted spare part and the labour. Excluded are damage caused by the customer, new drop damage and third-party tampering. Once the housing has been opened, we cannot guarantee the manufacturer's water resistance. Your statutory warranty rights remain unaffected.
