Important: For water damage, the 12-month warranty applies only to the spare parts actually installed.
Once opened, the factory water protection is no longer guaranteed – your device will not be waterproof after the repair.
What should you do after water damage?
- Switch off the device if it is still safely possible to do so.
- Do not continue charging it.
- Remove the SIM card if possible without causing further damage.
- Do not use rice – it does not remove corrosion inside the device.
- Have the device professionally checked as soon as possible.
Why water damage varies
Depending on the quantity, type, and exposure time, liquid can affect very different components. Therefore, the final scope of repair can often only be determined after opening and examining the device.
Examination and approval
If a cost estimate is required, a prepaid fee of €29.95 will be charged, which will be credited towards any subsequent repair. We will not carry out any additional repairs without your approval.
Data recovery after liquid damage
If the device no longer starts and the data is more important than the full restoration of the device, data recovery can be examined separately. The technical possibilities vary depending on the damage.
Sending in your device
Before sending: Please do not ship devices with a swollen or damaged battery as a standard package. Clarify acceptance with us first and follow the shipping instructions.
Shipping to us and back is insured within Germany. When sending the device, the booked service is paid for online in advance.
Often ready the same day – depending on the model and parts availability. The turnaround time is calculated from the date of arrival at the workshop; shipping time to and from our location is additional.
