Apple and Samsung make up most of our workshop's work, along with Google Pixel, Xiaomi, Huawei and Honor. For popular models we keep displays and batteries in stock, and we order in rarer parts.
iPhone
From the iPhone 6s to the iPhone 17, we replace displays, batteries, charging ports and back glass. For the display, depending on the model, you can choose from three qualities: Original as a service pack, Premium with soft OLED and Basic based on InCell.

Samsung Galaxy
On Galaxy S models, the display is firmly bonded to the frame. That's why we usually replace the complete display and frame unit — more involved than with an iPhone, but afterwards the frame and seal fit cleanly again.

Battery, charging port and back glass can be replaced individually. With Samsung, a swelling battery often pushes the display out of the frame first: if the device comes to us early, a simple battery replacement is usually enough.
Google Pixel
We repair Pixel 6 to Pixel 9 as well. Typical issues are cracked displays and batteries that weaken after two to three years; on devices with the Tensor chip, overheating is a known fault.

Xiaomi, Redmi, Huawei and Honor go through the same workshop. The range of models is wider here and parts supply varies from device to device — for some a repair is worthwhile, for others we'll tell you so openly.

Four types of damage make up most of what comes across our counter. All prices include VAT and depend on the model.
Display repair
from 55 € incl. VAT
Cracked glass, a black screen or a touchscreen that no longer responds in places. We loosen the adhesive with heat, remove the old panel, clean adhesive and glass splinters off the frame and fit the new display with fresh adhesive.

While doing so, we check whether the frame is still straight after the drop — otherwise a warped frame will quickly crack the new glass again. We transfer the sensor strip with the earpiece and proximity sensor from the old display.
Battery replacement
from 45 € incl. VAT
After one to two years, every lithium cell loses capacity: the device constantly needs charging or suddenly switches off in the cold. We release the old battery using the pull tabs, fit a new cell and check the charging electronics at the same time.

Charging port
from 45 € incl. VAT
The cable no longer holds; the device only charges in a certain position or not at all. In many cases, compacted pocket lint is lodged deep in the port — we remove that first before talking about a replacement.

If that doesn't help, the contacts are worn out or the charging board has a short circuit. On many models, the port is on its own flex cable and can be replaced individually, while on others, it is attached directly to the mainboard.
Water damage
Examination 19 € — fully credited upon commission
Water damage rarely shows up immediately: corrosion continues to work even if the device still runs at first. Keep it off, do not charge it, and do not put it in rice — that won't draw moisture out of the circuit board.

We open the device, clean the board, and check under a microscope to see which components have developed corrosion. Only then will we tell you what makes sense and what it will cost.
In addition, we replace camera modules and scratched lens covers starting at 35 €, as well as broken back glass and bent frames starting at 65 €. If a device does not start at all, the fault usually lies with the mainboard — we examine this under the microscope, also for an inspection fee of 19 €, which is credited if you proceed with the repair. Our shop is located in the heart of Aachen's city center, between the bus station and Elisenbrunnen. Parking garages in the city center are just a few minutes' walk away, and the bus station is right around the corner—from there, buses run throughout the entire city region. We are open Mon–Fri from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sat from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. You do not need an appointment.
From Eschweiler, Würselen, Herzogenrath, and Stolberg, it is only a few kilometers to us. If you live further away, you can also send in your device — you can find the procedure on our shipping page.

How much does a mobile phone repair cost in Aachen?
A display replacement starts at 55 €, a battery replacement at 45 €, each including VAT. The price depends on the model and, for the display, also on the chosen quality. In the configurator, you select your device and damage and see the price for your combination before placing an order.
How long does a mobile phone repair take?
Often ready the same day – depending on the model and parts availability. If the spare part for your device is not in stock, we will order it and let you know where things stand as soon as you drop it off. We schedule micro-soldering repairs on the motherboard separately.
Will my data be preserved during the repair?
As a rule, yes. We do not touch the storage when replacing the display or battery; your data remains untouched. Creating a backup beforehand is still advisable, however, especially in cases of water damage or devices that no longer start—in those cases, it is impossible to tell in advance whether the storage has been affected.
Do I need an appointment?
No. Come by Blondelstraße 10 during our opening hours and drop off your device. We will take a look at it and let you know what needs to be done and what it will cost — work only begins once you have given your approval. Afterwards, you can pick it up from us. It is still worth calling ahead: that way, we will know if your spare part is in stock.
What warranty do you provide on a repair?
We provide a 12-month warranty on every repair — covering both the installed spare part and our labor. This excludes new damage from drops or moisture, self-inflicted damage, and tampering by third parties. Your statutory warranty rights remain unaffected.
What quality of spare parts do you use?
For the display, you can choose between original as a service pack, premium with soft OLED, and basic based on InCell, provided that multiple qualities are available for your model. We source batteries and charging ports from verified suppliers. What was installed is noted on your order, and the 12-month warranty applies to every quality level.
Is it still worth repairing my phone?
As a rule of thumb: if the repair cost is significantly lower than the device's current resale value, it is worth it. A battery replacement starting at 45 € is almost always worth it, while a screen replacement for a very old device often is not. If we would advise against it, we will let you know during the diagnosis.
How does the shipping process work if I am not in Aachen?
You register your device via the shipping page, pack it securely with padding, and send it to us. After inspection, we will contact you with our findings and a price; repairs will only be carried out once you approve. The device will then be shipped back to you, insured, with the same 12-month warranty as if you had dropped it off in-store.
