Windows laptops
We also repair Lenovo, HP, Dell, Acer, Asus and Medion — just not via the configurator, because the design and parts vary significantly by series. We will provide you with the price after the diagnosis. The inspection costs 19 € and will be fully credited if you proceed with the repair.
Lenovo and ThinkPad
IdeaPad, Yoga, and ThinkPad. Many ThinkPads are designed to be maintenance-friendly: in numerous series, the battery, keyboard, and storage drive can be replaced individually, often without disassembling the entire chassis.

EliteBook, ProBook, Pavilion, and Envy. Business devices are usually easy to open, while thin consumer models are more often glued—which increases the effort required for battery or display replacements.

Cracked panel, lines, black screen, or a lid that no longer stays in place. We replace the display unit and check the hinges and display cables at the same time to ensure the damage doesn't recur.

Charging port and power adapter port

The laptop only charges when the cable is at an angle, or not at all. The cause could be the power adapter, the socket, or the charging electronics on the board.

Fan and overheating

Loud fans, a hot underside, and a device that slows down at the slightest task. Dust usually collects in the heat sinks and fans, and after a few years, the thermal paste also dries out.

SSD and RAM

A larger SSD or more RAM makes older notebooks suitable for everyday use again. In many newer MacBooks, both are soldered — we check in advance what is possible, and transfer your system, programs, and data during the migration.

Right in the city center, near the bus station and Elisenbrunnen. There are several parking garages in the area. Open Mon–Fri 10 a.m.–7 p.m. and Sat 11 a.m.–7 p.m.; no appointment is necessary.
The city center is easily accessible from Eschweiler, Würselen, Herzogenrath, and Stolberg. If you live further away, send in your laptop. For companies, public authorities, and schools, we offer business customer services with payment by invoice.

How much does a laptop repair cost?
For MacBook, display replacement starts at 179 €, the battery at 89 €, and the keyboard and top case at 149 €. The configurator will show the exact price for your model. For Windows laptops, we will provide a price after diagnosis; the inspection costs 19 € and will be credited if you proceed with the repair.
How long will the repair take?
Often ready the same day – depending on the model and parts availability. For some Windows notebooks, a part must first be ordered due to the vast variety of models. We will let you know what to expect for your device when you drop it off.
Will my data be preserved?
When replacing the display, battery, or keyboard, the storage drive remains untouched. It is a different story if the SSD is replaced or if the device no longer starts after liquid contact. A backup beforehand is therefore always sensible — we will discuss this with you prior to the repair.
What warranty do I get?
We provide a 12-month warranty on every repair for both the installed spare part and the labor performed. Excluded are cases of self-inflicted damage, new accidental drops, and third-party tampering. Following liquid damage, the warranty applies only to the replaced component. In the event of a warranty claim, simply bring the device back to us. Statutory rights remain unaffected.
Is it worth repairing an older laptop?
That depends on the damage and the residual value. A new battery or SSD often makes an older notebook usable again, whereas a screen replacement on a very old device rarely does. We will tell you honestly if we consider a repair to be uneconomical.
How does shipping work?
You register the repair via our submission page, pack the laptop well-cushioned, and send it to us. After the diagnosis, we will contact you with the price and will only proceed with the repair after your approval. The device will be sent back to you insured.
